This is so fun.  Kyle and I really want to go to Alaska for a second honeymoon someday and this just made us want to go even more.  I can't wait to get my travel book and start planning.

Check out this website.  There is a lot of really great stuff in there like this:

North Pole, Alaska where the 400,000 letter addressed to Santa, North Pole, Alaska arrive.
Only a 15-minute drive south of Fairbanks, the rest of North Pole also keeps up the Christmas theme year-round, with holiday decorations and trimmings even if it’s 80 degrees in July. You can wander down streets named Santa Claus Lane, Kris Kringle Drive and Mistletoe Lane or stay the night at Santaland RV Park. The town comes alive in December with the annual North Pole Christmas In Ice Contest attracting ice carvers from across Alaska and from as far away as China and Russia. The Winter Festival draws crowds with activities and fireworks. Radio stations from around the world call City Hall with disc jockeys asking what the temperature is or if ”Santa Claus really lives there” and it’s not unusual for national TV newscasts to broadcast live from the Santa Claus House. And at the North Pole Post Office, on South Santa Claus Lane, more than 400,000 pieces of mail arrive annually simply addressed to ‘Santa Claus, North Pole, Alaska.’
