Wheeler Historical Farm
Salt Lake

Wheeler Farms is celebrating the holidays with their Annual Festival Of The Lights.  This is a great deal:  $25.00 for a family of 6 or $5.00 a person will get to ride a wagon through the light forest, warm by the fire and then visit with Santa.  Get all the details HERE.

Ogden's Christmas Village
Ogden

Go to Odgen City's website HERE to learn about this adorable miniture Christmas Village.  Visiting the Christmas Village was one of my favorite Christmas traditions from my childhood, even thought we refer to it as going to see the frozen babies.  (I don't remember the story behind the nickname, but I assume it has something to do with the little dolls that are in the cottages looking a bit cold.  Mom, feel free to fill in with a comment at the bottom of this post.  I'm sure we would all like to know why we call it the Frozen Babies.)

Historic 25th Street and Union Station
Odgen

While you are there don't forget to check out Historic 25th Street. On 25th and Washington businesses have decorated their store windows.  They even have a contest for the best window display.  And check out the tree at Union Station.

Fantasy at the Bay
Willard Bay State Park

Fantasy at the Bay
Willard Bay - Cottonwood Campground
Located off I-15's exit 357
Hours: 5 - 10pm nightly
Admission is $8 per vehicle
Hot chocolate, chili, etc available around large campfire
You can drive through the lights or take a free horse-drawn hay wagon ride
Also, I believe for a few dollars more you can take a wagon ride around and visit with Santa.  We did this last year and had a lot of fun.  Take the wagon ride, it's worth the extra money.

Perhaps my favorite is Winder Dairy. Take a drive down the historic Winder Lane. Then visit the Country store for some Hot Chocolate and Scones with fresh churned butter. Very fun! Winder Farms are located on 4400 West and 4100 South in West Valley City. LINK here for more information on Winder Farms. (note: There is a charge for the Hot Chocolate & Scones)

CLAS Ropes Christmas Cruise
Provo

I think this sounds really fun.  I'm going to take my family.  I will let you know what we think.:  Come enjoy a lighted riverboat ride on the lower Provo River.  There are thousands of lights reflecting off the water, holiday scenes along the shore, and Christmas music on the boat.  Santa even comes to visit on his canoe.  Last year close to 2,000 people enjoyed our Christmas Cruise during the month of December. We have two professional excursion boats that can accommodate 40 people per ride.  Since the boats are uncovered, blankets and warm clothes are strongly encouraged.  The ride is a round-trip experience that takes 25 minutes, with departures every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour.

More details are availabe at the link HERE
